The best part I like is:. Easy to use and easy to maintain, it takes a few minutes to squeeze a cup of orange juice and a few minutes to clean it. It is quite heavy and durable
This juicer is sturdy and easy to use and clean. Many juicers out there on the market are electric powered. This one is manual, handy, no dangling cord, can sit anywhere on the counter. Most importantly it can press variety of fruit juice without pulp, oranges, pears, pomegranates...... perfect for small batch of juice making.
This is a piece of very solid kitchen tool. Very heavy and steady , and won’t take too much of the counter space. Great for Pomegranate juice!!!
After I got this juicer, I clean it and made a cup of orange juice right away, just cut an orange in half and squeeze it. The juicer gets most of juice out except a small rim. It fits in counter space, sturdily made, easy to clean. Overall very happy with it!
We purchased this juicer to use in our bed and breakfast, we use it daily for orange juice and lemonade. It has been in use for a year. The only real issue I had with it was the attachment bolts on the articulating arm kept coming loose. I backed them out one at a time, added a few drops of nail polish to the threads, reinstalled the bolts, problem solved. There are 6 total.Another issue that others mention is the tendency for the juicer to tip forward when juicing larger fruit like oranges. This does happen, but it is easy to stabilize with light pressure on the back of the juicer with you non
Great device. I have now bought 2 .... one for home and one for our vacation home.
This is one of the best kitchen appliances I have. Don’t waste time with other juicers (we did at first) just get this thing. We Judie limes and lemons mostly but you can do just about anything. The lever is a life changer. Your hand never gets tired!
So far so good! I got this about a week ago and while I cannot compare it with anything else, I can say that I was able to juice grapefruits, oranges and lemons without any problem. It leaves the fruit completely dry and my glass very full. Some people do complain that the height for the glass placement is not enough, but I just use a measuring cup with a spout which makes pouring it into a glass (or cocktail) very easy. I love it! Now I think I may have to buy another for my brother-in-law and maybe my father.
I use fresh lime and lemon juice a lot but it became very painful using traditional manual juicers where you're constantly pressing down and twisting or the ones where you squeeze the handles together. This is a bit bulkier in size but worth it for me. It allows me to use more of my weight when pressing down the lever than having to use my strength and twisting motion. It's a very solid piece of equipment that's for sure. And it's very easy to clean. So that I don't have to unscrew the top part that presses down on the limes I cove it with a sandwich baggie that I rinse right after I use it an
This juicer is wonderful for pomegranate squeezing. My child never eat pomegranate before I got this citrus juicer. Love it!!!
This thing is the bomb! All pieces that touch the fruit are removeable and washable (the cup on top unscrews for washing). It is made if heavy duty cast iron, which is necessary for stability, (but I could see taking anywhere if it meant sharing the love). I was able to fit a 16oz (500ml) measuring cup to catch the juice. I squeezed 4 large organic lemons to yield a little over 12oz (1 1/2 cups) of juice. (There are a lot of great lemonade recipes online for homemade shaken lemonade, I think a fair estimate would be 1 lemon per serving. See “state fair lemonade”). This press will make the job
Other than having to stabilize the base with either your hand or a clamp (minor inconvenience), it works really well. I was gifted 4 boxes of oranges and decided to juice the majority. This was an affordable and durable juicer option.
It's easy to clean. Easy to use. Thoroughly extracts the juice. My grandson loves it!
My amazing husband knows how much I love lemons and lemon juice. I use it for lemon oil, salad dressing, and fresh lemonade along limes for margaritas and salsa and more. He also knows how now at 44 years old, squeezing so many lemons and limes has become a major chore and painful for me m. when I opened this gift I was so happy and I thought it was a very thoughtful gift! it’s extremely heavy duty and I think it’s going to last a lifetime. Don’t hesitate on this purchase if you use lemons and limes like I do.
Outstanding enjoying the juice from my citrus trees in my backyard
I had a ton of lemons to juice this year. My girlfriend invited me over to use hers. It was fantastic. Worked so well, I stopped right then and ordered my own. Love it.
Imagine that electricity goes out and you need your orange juice...Well, get this item. Sturdy. No electricity needed. Just your muscles and oranges. And it also squeezes pomegranates!!!An absolutely must have at home.If you have weak arms, then ask your neighbor to help :)
I brew a few gallons of ginger beer a month and this makes juicing 20lb of lemons and limes a < 30 minute job.
My fella loves this juicer and uses it all the time. Solid construction and it’s easy to clean.
Purchased this after burning up several electric juicers. Wish I had a photo to share of the grandkids squeezing their own breakfast juice from our satsumas. One word of caution, KEEP YOUR HAND ON THE HANDLE IN UPRIGHT POSITION. Learned this the hard way after getting clunked on the head a couple of times when it fell. The other thing is to tighten the upper cone if you are doing a lot of fruit at one time as it tends to unscrew a bit with each squeeze.
